Here you will be exposed to the evidence around injury prevention programs, specific frameworks in the soccer environment & how we can control key variables.
03Understanding injury prevention and rehabilitation
Delivered by Dr. Juan Carlos Ramos Lecture 3 explores further the injury prevention & rehabilitation processes used within a soccer club. Here is a case study with one of the worlds biggest clubs in terms of the processes we will follow. Here we will highlight the definition of injury, frequency and importance of injury prevention from a club standpoint. We can then discuss the development of training programs for the reduction of injury risk in soccer and the role rehabilitation plays in this process.
