Beatriz Boullosa is a Mexican sport nutrition leader and practitioner whose career blends federation-level high-performance work, professional education, and public-facing science communication. She completed a Master’s degree in Physical Activity and Health at the Universidad de León (2010–2012), building an academic base that complements her long-term applied work in elite sport settings.
Since April 2012, Boullosa has served as President of the Federación Mexicana de Nutrición Deportiva (FMND), where her focus is on raising standards and professionalising sport nutrition practice in Mexico. In this role, she has prioritised evidence-based education, continuing professional development, and building a community of practitioners committed to high-quality support for athletes across levels of performance. Alongside her federation leadership, she is also active in science communication as the co-host of the “Bendita Nutrición” podcast (January 2024–present), translating nutrition, supplementation, and health concepts into practical habits that audiences can apply consistently.
Boullosa also brings extensive football-specific experience through a decade with the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, working as Nutritionist for the Mexican National Team set-up (February 2010–February 2020). During this period, she helped establish and develop sport nutrition structures and protocols within the federation environment, supporting performance preparation and athlete wellbeing across training and competition demands.
Across these roles, she is recognised as a speaker and opinion leader in sport nutrition, with a clear emphasis on applying scientific evidence to real-world performance and long-term health outcomes for both amateur and elite athletes.
